Suspect arrested in fatal Bald Knob shooting

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting in Bald Knob Tuesday evening.

White County Sheriff Deputies said they received a 911 call around 5:30 p.m. reporting shots fired on Barber Road.

When deputies arrived on scene they found 27-year-old Michael Gimondo of Searcy, dead with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Joshua Curl of Bald Knob, on scene.

Curl is being held at the White County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond facing a charge for 2nd-degree murder.
