Texas woman killed in Malvern after crashing into slowing tractor-trailer

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A Texas woman was killed in a car crash in Malvern on Thursday afternoon, according to Arkansas State Police.

State police say that Meghan Frazier, 20, of Hallsville, Texas was driving eastbound on I-30 at the 97 log mile when the crash happened.

Around 1:40 p.m., a semi-truck heading east changed lanes and began slowing for traffic ahead. As the truck slowed down, Frazier’s Jeep hit the rear end of the trailer. The vehicle then landed just south of the roadway.

The crash report states that a minor who was in Frazier’s vehicle was taken to an area hospital for injuries.
