LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Barricade Boys, a quartet of vocalists from the United Kingdom, are set to bring "an electrifying evening of entertainment" to Conway later this month.
The University of Central Arkansas announced Monday that the musical theater group, with credits of West End shows of Mamma Mia, Wicked, and The Sound of Music, will perform at the Reynolds Performance Hall on Sept. 29.
“These sensational entertainers will bring an array of song and dance to the Reynolds stage," said Amanda Horton, UCA Public Appearances executive director. "Their talent, enthusiasm, and charisma will assure a fun night for all as they sing Pop and Broadway hits that we all know and love.”
The release stated the Barricade Boys began when two friends, Garnham and Schofield, wanted to create a night at the musicals like no other, an audience experience that would be much more than just songs from the shows. They created an electrifying evening of entertainment, where favorite musicals blend with some of the greatest pop, rock and swing numbers, performed by four top West End performers.
The evening will consist of songs from the heart-wrenching emotion of Les Misérables to the toe-tapping harmonies of the Jersey Boys, thrown in with a mix of Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen, and more, the release stated.
UCA stated that tickets range from $30-$50 for adults and $10 for children/students.
Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased at the Reynolds Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., online or by calling UCA Ticket Central at (501) 450-3265 or toll-free at (866) 810-0012.
