Woman injured as home targeted in drive-by shooting

According to a police report, a 37-year-old woman had multiple injuries after she was hit by gunfire during a weekend drive-by shooting targeting a Little Rock residence. (KATV Photo)

Little Rock police are looking for the suspect or suspects who injured a woman who was inside a house targeted in a drive-by shooting.

Just after 3 a.m. Saturday, police were called to a home in the 6600 block of E. Wakefield Dr. for a shooting just occurred.

According to the police report, 37-year-old Brandi Holmes and three juveniles were inside when they heard several gunshots and took cover as they realized the home was being targeted.

The woman was shot in her right leg and grazed by gunfire on her torso. She was taken to UAMS, where doctors determined her injuries were non-life threatening.

A witness told police after the shots were fired, he saw a dark Dodge Challenger speed westbound toward Eaton Dr.
