In this Exploring Arkansas, Sky7 is taking new flights - this time to Peebles Farm Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze.

Katherine Peebles says the idea for the pumpkin patch sparked in 2004 when her daughter's class wanted to come for a visit.

The next year, they decided to do a pumpkin patch and invite the public to the farm.

At the time, they thought no one in Arkansas was doing a corn maze, so they decided to try and develop one.

This year's 16-acre corn maze is celebrating fall harvest, with the design showing a cornucopia spilling over with autumn's best fruits and vegetables.

There's plenty to do on the farm, including a barnyard featuring goats, chickens, an alpaca, a llama and more; horse and wagon rides, hay rides, and tractor-pulled train rides; and a General Store selling Arkansas-made products.

Peebles Farm is located on Highway 64 between Augusta and McCrory.

It is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (also featured a haunted corn maze), and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
