Wanted Wednesday: Benton Police
BENTON (KATV) —
It appears this suspect had a good time on the hotel's dime after failing to pay for the room.
It all happened about a month ago at the Capri Inn Benton on I-30 according to police. It was around 10 a.m. when police were called for someone breaking into a room.
A hotel employee told police a man and woman forced entry into a room. Records showed the woman paid for another room, but not the one they hung out in all night.
Benton Police told KATV they're looking for Michael Warren Burbank, 36 while his partner in crime, Kayla Hingle, has already been arrested and remains in jail.
After being confronted by hotel staff , police said the pair left with two other men who stayed in the paid room.
It sounds like they had one heck of a party considering police found a used syringe with suspected meth residue and three empty medicine bottles in the trash. Those medicine bottles contained someone else's name, and the car they all left in was registered to the same name as the medicine bottles.
Burbank is wanted for several felony charges, including use of another's property to commit a crime, commercial burglary and drug paraphernalia.
If you know Burbank's whereabouts, you're urged to contact Benton police, you can remain anonymous (501) 778-1171 or text 274637.
