Wanted Wednesday: Little Rock Police

It’s a wild story and Little Rock Police are looking for the guy at the center of it.

Not only did this guy reportedly steal someone's identity to buy a car, but he initially got away with it and pulled out of a car dealership lot with a brand new 2016 Dodge.

Christopher Lawson, 32, has been wanted since February. LRPD told KATV Lawson secured a bank loan under someone else's identity, then went to McLarty Honda in Little Rock to buy a car.

It's been reported that Lawson used an altered driver's license that had his picture, but another man's information. Lawson was successful and left with that car, but the victim of this identity theft soon realized he had not bought a car and notified the dealership.

Just five days later, police tried to pull Lawson over, but he fled and wrecked the now stolen car in the area of Colonel Miller and Crystal Valley Road.

If you know where Christopher Lawson is, you're urged to call Little Rock Police, you can remain anonymous (501) 371-4660.
