Jack Allen

Jack Allen serves as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter for KATV. He joined the sports department in January 2023.

Jack graduated from Harding University with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2019. For the next four years, he served as a sports anchor for KXXV and KRHD, the ABC affiliates in Waco and College Station, Texas.

Jack has a passion for high school and college sports.

During his time in Texas, Jack covered multiple Texas high school state champions, Baylor Big 12 Championships, two Sugar Bowls and the 2021 men's basketball national championship. He also followed Texas A&M's journey to the College World Series in 2022.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jack is an avid sports fan first. He loves Cajun food and college football. If you see him out and about, be sure to stop him and say "hey!"
