Ryan Houston

Ryan Houston is a Daybreak and Midday anchor for KATV.
He is an Arkansas native and is so glad to finally be back in the Natural State. Ryan grew in Pine Bluff and is a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Ryan has covered it all from weather disasters to mass shootings and even political corruption. He spent more than 10 years covering local and national news.
He started in southern Georgia, where he spent four years covering breaking news and working as a political reporter. While in the Peach State, his reporting brought about change in city laws.
Ryan started on the anchor desk in Jackson, Mississippi where he worked as the main anchor for the 6 and 10 p.m. weeknight newscasts. He then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and worked as early evening news anchor for the ABC affiliate for three years.
Houston went a little further north, moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and worked as a weekend anchor and breaking news reporter.
He’s the oldest of four boys.
In his spare time, Ryan loves volunteering, working out, reading, and watching reality television.
